The Romans Road to Salvation

The Romans Road to Salvation is a way of sharing the Gospel of salvation using verses from the Biblical book of Romans. If you don't know Christ as your Savior, I pray that the following verses will lead you on the road to salvation that can only come through Jesus Christ.

If you know Jesus Christ as your Savior, I pray that you will share the gospel of Jesus Christ with others today. The following verses will help you to share with others how they can receive Jesus Christ as their Savior and receive salvation.

Four Points About Salvation:

Why We Need Salvation

How God Provided Salvation

How We Can Receive Salvation

What Are The Results Of Salvation

Why We Need Salvation:

Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God."

We all have sinned. We have all done things that are displeasing to God. There is no one who is innocent.

Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

How God Provided Salvation:

Roman 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

Romans 5:8 "But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."

Jesus Christ died for us! Jesus' death paid for the price of our sins. Jesus' resurrection power proves that God accepted Jesus' death as payment for our sins.

How We Can Receive Salvation:

Romans 10:8-13 But what does it say? The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame. For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. For "whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved."

We can only receive salvation through Jesus Christ, by believing in Him!

Romans 10:9 "That if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."

Because of Jesus' death on our behalf, all we have to do is believe in Him, trusting His death as the payment for our sins - and we will be saved.

What Are The Results of Salvation:

Romans 5:1 "Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ."

Through Jesus Christ we can have a relationship of peace with God.

Romans 8:1 "There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus."

Because of Jesus' death on our behalf, we will never be condemned for our sins.

Romans 8:38-39 "For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, neither angels nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

If you want to know Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, please say the following prayer.

Prayer for Eternal Life

Dear Heavenly Father, I come to You in the name of Jesus. I am a sinner and need Your forgiveness. I believe that Your only begotten Son, Jesus Christ shed His blood on the cross and died for my sins and now I want to turn from my sins. I confess with my mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in my heart that You raised Him from the dead. I invite Jesus Christ to come into my life as my personal Savior. Thank you, Jesus, for dying for my sins and giving me the gift of eternal life. Amen.
